We recently were a part of an 8th birthday party in Waterdown, Ontario.  The birthday girl wanted the bracelets to be her favourite colours of purple and pink and silver.  The mom decorated the backyard using the same colours and it looked so beautiful!  The girls each made a bracelet and a matching bookmark, then we played some games and the girls coloured. 

We added in names on the bookmarks and the girls just loved them.  They were perfect for back to school.

This weekend we were a part of an outdoor 10th Birthday Party in Mississauga, Ontario.  This was such a magical party.  Since the birthday girl was turning double digits, the mom did a grownup rose gold and white themed birthday party.  The girls did our friendship bracelet package and the bracelets had a best friend charm on them and the girls choose from a variety of pastel coloured glass beads.  The girls had so much fun and it was the perfect activity for them to reconnect before school starts up.  

We recently were invited to do a frozen themed 7th outdoor birthday party at a Toronto park.  The mom set up the most beautiful spot with blankets for the children to work at.  She set up a beautiful picnic display with cupcakes, macaroons, lemonade and other prepackaged treats.  It truly looked magical.

The guests all made personalized name bookmarks and bracelets.  

It was such a special outdoor park birthday party, definitely a party we will never forget.  

This weekend we were invited to be a part of a socially distanced backyard outdoor 10th birthday party in Oakville, Ontario. 

This party was for a total of 6 girls, consisting of 3 sets of sisters.  The mom had us come at 10:30 a.m. so that it would not be too hot for the girls to make their bracelets.  The birthday girl really wanted the bracelets to be a bit more grown up, she wanted to incorporate her favourite colour blue, and she loved the idea of each girl being able to put her name on her bracelet. 

We sanitized the boards ahead of the party. The birthday girl choose the bead colours and charms prior to the party and we prepared, sanitized and safely individually packaged each bracelet project. Then we distributed them to  the children at the party in the shaded backyard.  Each set of sisters sat on their own blanket and the girls were able to chat and catch up while beading together, the bracelets took about 45 minutes to make and then we did some colouring while we waited for everyone to finish.  Once the bracelets were made, the mom handed out pre-made picnic lunches that she had made that morning and customized to what each girl liked to eat, it was such a nice touch.

This was such a fun party and we were so happy to be a part of it. 

This weekend we did our first outdoor socially distanced jewelry making birthday party and it was such a success.  The mom and I did some research and worked together to plan the perfect 2 hour socially distanced birthday party and this is what we came up with. 

The mom invited 8 girls for a total of 10 people at the party.  The party took place in the backyard and she planned an early evening party so that all the guests would be in shade and it would not be too hot, but enough light to be able to see the beads.

The mom had each guest bring their own blanket to make their jewelry on.  Two of the guests at the party were sisters, so they were able to share a blanket.

We made the bracelets with the girls, then we did a colouring activity, played a game called all about the birthday girl and then the mom handed out pizza and then the cupcakes.  All the girls sang happy birthday from their blanket beading stations and then enjoyed their treats.

It was such a fun party and we enjoyed every moment.  We are looking forward to providing many more of these parties this summer. 

 As we return to providing onsite birthday parties, the health and well being of our customers and team members is our top priority, this is what we are doing to keep us all safe.  

We have created a new party package where the children can make bracelets and personalized boomarks for smaller parties with six children or less for those that would prefer a smaller party, this party can take place outdoors.   We also have an American Girl themed birthday party for 8 children or less.

We are maintaining the highest standard of safety and sanitization when it comes to our beads and other materials.  The birthday child will choose the bracelet and bookmark colours and charms and will provide us with the party guests names prior to the party and we will prepare, sanitize and safely individually package each bracelet and bookmark project prior to the party.  They will be distributed by the instructor to the children at the party.

We will continue to follow the recommendations of local, provincial and national public health officials.

The Virtual Jewelry Party Experience: 

A Beading Buds Virtual Party host will guide you through a 45 minute bracelet making activity.  Recommended for Ages 6 to 11 years old.  Parent supervision is required.  $150 plus HST for 10 participants. Each additional child after 10 children is $15 plus HST

How it Works: 

Step 1: Contact us with your date and time to book a Birthday Party with us.  You can pay by EMT at the time of booking.  All birthday parties are conducted via ZOOM video conferencing. If you need help just ask, we will help you every step of the way. 

Step 2:  Choose the bead colours (purple or turquoise) and charm for your Virtual Beading Birthday Party Kit.  See the charm options in the photos below.

Step 3: The Virtual Beading Birthday Party Kit will be delivered to you. You are responsible for delivering each individual Virtual Beading Birthday Party Kit to your guests. There are no refunds or exchanges due to COVID-19. 

Step 4: Send out your VIRTUAL invites with your Zoom link created by us.  The link will be sent to you via a confirmation e-mail.

We recently were a part of the most special 7th Birthday Party in Brampton, Ontario.

This was the first time that we had ever seen this party theme and we were so impressed and inspired!  The birthday girl wore the most beautiful swan lake inspired dress and hair accessories.  The mom had a swan lake themed cake, cookies and decorations.  Everything was decorated in a gold, cream and blush colour scheme.  The girls made our fancy bracelet party package and then had a tea party after including sandwiches and pretty treats.

We recently did a jewelry making spa 9th birthday party in the most  beautiful spa in Toronto, Ontario.  The mom booked the spa for the evening and then the girls made friendship bracelets while having spa treatments.

The mom decided on a unicorn theme, and had the most beautiful unicorn decorations, unicorn cake and unicorn doughnuts.

This spa birthday party was so much fun, we had the best time making bracelets with this amazing group of 9 year olds.
