We had such an amazing time, we even managed to sneak in a photo of our instructor, taken by one of the little guests.
We recently attended at the most beautiful 11th bracelet making birthday party. We had done a party for the birthday girl’s sister in the spring, and it was so nice to be invited back to help celebrate this beautiful birthday girl. Since the girls were older, we brought more mature bead colours as well as the usual pink, purple and turquoise.

As we return to providing onsite birthday parties, the health and well being of our customers and team members is our top priority, this is what we are doing to keep us all safe.
We have created a new party package where the children can make bracelets and personalized boomarks for smaller parties with six children or less for those that would prefer a smaller party, this party can take place outdoors. We also have an American Girl themed birthday party for 8 children or less. We are maintaining the highest standard of safety and sanitization when it comes to our beads and other materials. The birthday child will choose the bracelet and bookmark colours and charms and will provide us with the party guests names prior to the party and we will prepare, sanitize and safely individually package each bracelet and bookmark project prior to the party. They will be distributed by the instructor to the children at the party. We will continue to follow the recommendations of local, provincial and national public health officials. We are so excited to be able to bead with you again! With the beautiful summer weather finally here, for social distancing, our DIY birthday party bracelet kits are perfect for outdoor birthday parties and online Zoom parties. We maintain the highest standard of safety and sanitization and each kit is individually packaged. Visit our birthday party bracelet kit page for more information.
We do so many amazing birthday parties such as a American Girl birthday tea party that we recently did in Oakville, Ontario. This mom had so many easy and craft DIY ideas that we just had to pass on.
The mom invited all the guests to bring their favourite doll. The entire party was planned with fun activities incorporating the dolls. The girls made friendship bracelets with matching necklaces for their dolls which became the party loot bag. Then the mom set up the cutest tea party, with seating for all the girls and their dolls. She made heart shaped sandwiches inspired by this blog post. The mom also made a cake with the AG star on it and then added a tiara, such a simple idea but with so much impact. The mom made star sugar cookies ahead of time using this recipe and then the girls decorated them and took them home as a loot bag. It was one of the cutest parties and the girls all had such a great time! For more American Girl party ideas check out our American Girl blog post. Fruit kabobs are perfect for a jewelry making birthday party because they suit the theme of beading and they are also a yummy and healthy snack that is fun to eat. Ingredients
Last spring, after receiving so many requests for sparkly beads, we decided to create our sparkliest package yet and we are so excited to announce that this package, our fancy bracelet package, is a huge hit! We are very proud to say that our little beaders are loving it and it has become our most requested package.
One of our favourite parts of doing what we do is seeing the expressions of absolute delight when the guests at our parties see what they are making, and see all the beads and charms that they get to work with. Our little beaders (and their moms!) love the wide selection of charms, such as unicorn, fairy, ballet, hearts, snowflakes and even sport themed charms. We made this package with a girl's hockey theme and they were so excited to have beautiful sparkly bracelet with a cool hockey charm. Our biggest reward is seeing the joy that our service brings. If you or your little crafter have a party theme in mind, let us know and we can order charms in to match your party theme. Thank you to all of our wonderful customers for allowing us to keep doing what we do. My 6 soon to be 7 year old daughter has been asking for a slumber party for her 7th birthday. I don't think that her friends (and their moms) would be ready for that yet, and I don't think I am ready to have 15 7 year olds sleeping at over at our house. So I decided this year to throw her a mock slumber birthday party so she can have still have some slumber party fun. My daughter is really into American Girl and Baby Alive dolls, so to go with the theme of the party, we are asking each guest to arrive in their fanciest pajamas and to bring their favourite doll. After the guests arrive, our first activity is going to be beading of course. Each girl is going to make matching necklaces for herself and her doll. We are going to do our Beading Buds package I. After that we are going to make and eat our own pizzas. For some additional fun activity ideas check out our pinterest board here. Next we are going to have some slumber party fun. We are going to make facemasks, paint nails, give the girls and their dolls makeovers using make-up and give the girls all the best hairsyles that we can dream up. We will also play some sleepover party games. For ideas click here. Finally we are going to end off the party with a movie. Since we are having this party in November, it should be dark early enough for the girls to feel like it is a real slumber party. I am so excited to start putting all the pieces of this party together. We will keep you posted to see how it went! Visit our pinterest board for more mock slumber birthday party fun. We have done many American Girl Beading Birthday Parties in the past, and beading really is the perfect complement to an American Girl Birthday Party. Check out our American Girl Party Package. At many of our parties, the girls make matching necklaces for themselves and their dolls with a special heart or snowflake charm. Here are some tips and tricks to help make your American Girl Beading Birthday Party extra special. Party Decor: There are two great options for the party decor. Option one is to make everything pink. Option 2 is to go with the American girl colours, red and white and the star shape. Stack American Girl doll boxes as a centerpiece, put up red and white tissue paper flowers. Hang red and white stars, cut out star shapes and hang them on the walls. Make your own American Girl photo booth, click here for some more party decor ideas. Party Food: Cut sandwiches and fruit into star shapes and serve mini hamburgers and mini hotdogs, red punch and red velvet cupcakes. A fun idea is to have a dessert table with all red candy such as licorice and gumballs, red candy apples, marshmallows, star shaped cookies and and desserts on it. Birthday Cake: Most birthday cakes are red with white stars on them, check out our pinterest page here for some ideas. Party Activities: A fun idea is for the girls to make friendship necklaces or bracelets for themselves and then a matching necklace for their doll. Another idea is for the girls to make their own friendship necklaces, and then for the birthday mom to give each girl a pre-made regular bracelet that they can put on their doll so that the doll have friendship necklaces too. This can be the party activity and the loot bag. Click here to see our party packages. Once the jewelry is made, other fun activities are American Girl Bingo, click here for a printable. Another fun idea is to play usual party games (such as freeze dance, duck duck goose, etc) but include the dolls in the games. |
