This week we were a part of a 9th jewelry making birthday party in Burlington, Ontario. It was a beautiful warm and sunny fall afternoon, the mom had the girls come over right after school and we made customized name bracelets using the birthday girl's favourite colours of pink and purple. The birthday girl loves ballet and so we added a ballet charm to her bracelet. We prepackaged the kits ahead of time and distributed them at the party. The girls did such an amazing job and the bracelets were so beautiful, the bracelets became the party entertainment and the lootbag. We had the best time, so thankful to have been a part of this party.

We recently were a part of the most beautiful 5th birthday party at Sorelle Bakery in Vaughan, one of our favourite places to have a beading party. The mom was so amazing to work with and she created such a special and unforgettable 5th birthday party for her daughter. The theme of the party was a magical unicorn tea party, and it truly was magical. The girls had an exquisite tea party with beautiful tea cups, sandwiches and treats, then they made bracelets with a unicorn charm. The mom decorated with rose gold and unicorn decor, cakes and cupcakes and everything was captured by one of our favourite photographers, by aliya. It was such an honour to be a part of such a special party. Thank you for letting us be a part of your magical day!
We are so excited to feature this Toronto craft fashion birthday party that took place in North York, Ontario. This was a very special 10 year old birthday party for us because the birthday girl had two older sisters and we have done their 10th birthday parties, we felt so special to have become part of this family's 10 birthday party tradition. Because this mom had done two 10th birthday parties already, she wanted this one to be extra special and was really having a hard time choosing a theme. We finally decided to make it a fashion craft party and it was a hit with this group of tweens!
The main entertainment for the party was our friendship bracelet package. The girls all made bracelets with little heart charms that said made with love or best friends. After the jewelry making was done, the mom made a runway inspired by a runway that she saw on pinterest (see top center photo). The mom had a big box of feather boas, dress up clothes, sunglasses and hair accessories, and the girls had so much fun dressing up and walking down the runway. After the fashion show, the mom had the girls pose for photos using a large frame that she had prepared. She was inspired by a photo online, see top left photo. The mom then printed out the photos and sent them out with her thank you cards after the party. The mom had a cake made using the inspiration from the top right photo. She made sure to have a necklace on the cake to go with the theme of jewelry making. This was such a fun and special fashion craft birthday party for us! We do so many amazing birthday parties such as a American Girl birthday tea party that we recently did in Oakville, Ontario. This mom had so many easy and craft DIY ideas that we just had to pass on.
The mom invited all the guests to bring their favourite doll. The entire party was planned with fun activities incorporating the dolls. The girls made friendship bracelets with matching necklaces for their dolls which became the party loot bag. Then the mom set up the cutest tea party, with seating for all the girls and their dolls. She made heart shaped sandwiches inspired by this blog post. The mom also made a cake with the AG star on it and then added a tiara, such a simple idea but with so much impact. The mom made star sugar cookies ahead of time using this recipe and then the girls decorated them and took them home as a loot bag. It was one of the cutest parties and the girls all had such a great time! For more American Girl party ideas check out our American Girl blog post. In ten years of providing jewelry making birthday parties, we have been to many dance themed birthday parties. This is no surprise since many of our little beaders dance and often invite their whole dance group to their birthday parties. When doing a dance themed party the first thing you do is design your invitation. There are so many beautiful dance invitations, but the tulle invitations are our favourite, and here is a video showing you how to make it. The decor for a dance and/or ballet themed party is so beautiful. Lots of pink tulle, gold sparkles, and ballet dancer cutouts. You can make pink tulle table skirts and chair covers to make the party even more magical. Food at a dance and/or ballet themed party is all pink and cream with gold accents. Pink cupcakes with gold sprinkles, pink macaroons, parfaits, white bread with pink cream cheese, and pink lemonade. Activities for your dance themed party can include musical chairs, hot potato, or freeze dance to ballet music, making bracelets using pinks and creams with a dance charm. Decorating your down dance bag, or the girls can create their own dance and preform it at the end of the party. We hope we inspired you with our dance party ideas. Comment with any ideas of your own. Have a great party!
One of our favourite party themes ever is a unicorn party theme. We adore all the beautiful magical colours and how much fun you can have with this magical theme. A mom booking a beading party was doing a unicorn theme and asked us if we could design a custom beading project for her party, of course we said yes, and we were thrilled with how it turned out and wanted to share this awesome party theme with you! Party Invitations: This is such an easy theme to choose invites for because there are so many beautiful unicorn invitations to choose from. You can also download a printable invitation online such as this one. Party Decor: We adore the colour scheme that you would use for this party. All pastel colours, such as pastel blue, pastel pink, pastel purple, pastel pink, pastel green and pastel yellow. You would also use gold and gold glitter. Blow up balloons in pastal colours and blow up clear balloons and fill them with glitter see here for instructions. Hang up dreamcatchers in pastel colours, you can make these yourself, like this beautiful one from Kara's party ideas. You can also make your own garland like this one in pastel colours to match your theme. Party Food: For a unicorn party you want the food to look as beautiful as possible and in pastel colours, such as marshmallows, chocolate covered pretzels, and unicorn bark (click here for recipe). When making your cake or cupcake, make the inside of the cake rainbow, this is such a fun surprise for the guests. When making the cake or cupcakes, use pastel colours and lots of gold glitter. Party Activities: This party is all about magical fun. Hand out unicorn horns to all of the guests to wear during the party. Have them decorate ice cream cones with icing and sprinkles to make their own unicorn themed treat. You can also play pin the horn on the unicorn and have a unicorn pinata. Another fun idea is to have the girls make jewelry with a unicorn charm. For more information about our fancy bracelet birthday party packages. We hope that you have as much fun planning your unicorn themed birthday party as we had doing this post.
Last spring, after receiving so many requests for sparkly beads, we decided to create our sparkliest package yet and we are so excited to announce that this package, our fancy bracelet package, is a huge hit! We are very proud to say that our little beaders are loving it and it has become our most requested package.
One of our favourite parts of doing what we do is seeing the expressions of absolute delight when the guests at our parties see what they are making, and see all the beads and charms that they get to work with. Our little beaders (and their moms!) love the wide selection of charms, such as unicorn, fairy, ballet, hearts, snowflakes and even sport themed charms. We made this package with a girl's hockey theme and they were so excited to have beautiful sparkly bracelet with a cool hockey charm. Our biggest reward is seeing the joy that our service brings. If you or your little crafter have a party theme in mind, let us know and we can order charms in to match your party theme. Thank you to all of our wonderful customers for allowing us to keep doing what we do. We have noticed a trend lately of moms booking Paris themed jewelry making birthday parties for their tween daughters. After doing some research we totally understand why! A huge part of any Paris themed party is pearls and we have so many packages where the girls make beautiful glass pearl necklaces. To see these packages visit our birthday party page. The first thing when planning your Paris themed party is to decide on your party decor. From our research we have noticed that most Paris themed birthday parties include the colours of soft pink, white and black, pearls, the Eiffel tower, roses, flowers, ruffles and poodles. Since Paris is known as the city of lights, hang up lots of lights and hang Monet inspired paintings on the walls. The next thing to decide is on your party activities. Of course, jewelry making is the perfect activity (and it becomes the party lootbag). Other fun activities are to hire a mime to perform at the party, have the children draw carton portraits of each other, or play Eiffel tower ring toss. We also suggest that you put out a box full of feather boas, glass pearl necklaces, sunglasses and hats and have the girls do a fashion show. You can set up a photo booth and take some photos to help you remember the party. Food ideas for a Paris birthday parties are croissants, cheese tray, quiche, french bread, macaroons, cream puffs, pink lemonade and fruit salad (a cute idea is to make mini fruit salads in cupcake liners). It is always a fun idea to have a Paris themed dessert table with french themed desserts such as Macroons, Eclairs and cream puffs as well as candy, cookies and cakes decorated with pink, black and white. Visit our Paris birthday party ideas Pinterest page for more ideas. We hope you find our Paris Birthday Party ideas for tweens helpful! Please leave us a comment and let us know how your party went.
Lately we have been obsessed with pink and gold birthday party decor, cakes, and everything else birthday party. We love how girly, luxurious, glam and pretty it is, and can go with so many themes. There are so many ways to incorporate pink and gold into a jewelry making birthday party. For more pink and gold beading jewelry making party ideas, visit our pinterest page click here. Another way to include pink and gold in your beading birthday party decor is to include pink and gold food in the shapes of beads such as macaroons, cakepops or cookies with sprinkles that look like beads. One of the ways to use pink and gold in your jewellery making birthday party is to use it in your party decor. A great way to do this, is to use pink or gold beads, this helps to tie it in with the theme of beading and jewellery. We absolutely adore this spray painted gold tree with pink crystals on it. It adds such a magical and luxurious touch to any birthday party. We also suggest pink and gold tissue paper flowers, garlands and balloons to complete and pink and gold party look. Complete the pink and gold party look by using these colours in your loot bags. We absolutely adore these beautiful loot bags. We love how the polka dots on this tissue paper as well as the decals on the front of the bag look like beads and how they pull the whole pink and gold beading theme together. Our princess kits are the perfect addition to any pink and gold theme party. The kits come packaged individually for each child with a variety of pink and white glass pearls and a stunning heart clasp starting at $6 per child.
